Terms
The rules for making and ordering books with papergarden. Last updated 22 October 2026.
The service
papergarden lets you make a picture book with an AI assistant (such as ChatGPT, Claude or Codex) and order it as a printed hardcover. Making a book is free. You only pay when you order a printed copy.
Your book
- You keep the rights to your book. You give us permission to store, show, render and print it so we can run the service.
- Only add text and pictures you have the right to use. Don't use papergarden for anything illegal, hateful, sexual, violent or meant to harm someone, and don't use other people's photos without their permission.
- Anyone with a book's view link can see it. Keep the link private if the book is private.
- We may remove books that break these rules.
Orders
- A printed hardcover costs €39 plus shipping. You see the full price, including VAT and delivery, before you pay.
- We print the book exactly as it is when you order. Check it on the book page first; the print check flags text and pictures that would be cut off.
- Each book is printed for you, so you can't cancel or return it once printing starts.
- If your book arrives damaged or misprinted, email support@papergarden.ai within 30 days with a photo, and we reprint it or refund you.
- Delivery dates are estimates from the printer and courier.
Our part
We work hard to keep papergarden running and your books safe, but the service is provided as it is. Pictures and text are made by your AI assistant, not by us. As far as the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us for the order in question. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.
